I’m the happiest when I a creating something fabulous or spending time doing what’s right.  US Capitol Elopements™ is my new toy.   Hanging out and playing with couples to create something wonderful, is how I like to shine.

Nothing boring about me.  Just awesome brining it fun.

To share more, I’m Starlene; wife, artist, photographer, DC court authorized marriage officiant, dog lover, and feral cat advocate.  Also an authorized to officiate in MD and VA.

Capital Elopements is all about photography, with a little ceremony pleasure added to the mix.

I’m finding couples caring less and less about the ceremony in the traditional fashion.  It’s all about saving and their love is the message I’m seeing mirrored in imagery.

I have been officiating since 2004.  Yea that’s a long time.  And I still do the traditional ceremony thing.  Love it.

But I love creating too.  Documenting you elopement love and romance throughout the DMV with my Nikon, is where it’s at today.  Love both my gigs, so I merge them together to create a special blend of a little bit of this and a whole lot of that.

Whatever recipe you like, we can create it together until you have the correct blend of my skills working for you.
